The dangling pine cones cling to the stems of the pine trees like tasty decorations for this Crested Tit. Who takes the opportunity to sample its delights.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Tits, pine cones and leaves  were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, techniques. These techniques create the different textures from the warm feathers of the tit to the dlicate pine leaves.
