Visiting Angelica
The tall, imposing blooms of Angelica stands towering in the shadow of woodlands and gardens. This herb makes the perfect snack for this Woodmouse who has clambered up one of it many stems to feast on its fresh leaves.
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the mouse, stem, flowers and leaves was achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
