Raindrops Keep Falling

Each delicate leaf adorned with rain-kiss, this pair finds solace amidst the branches, where the cool touch of rain is met with the shared warmth of their fluffy down. In this cozy haven, the sparrows are a testament to the delicate beauty of nature's moments of vulnerability and quiet strength.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Sparrows, rain, and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
