Sitting Pretty

In a garden bursting with colours, a tiny harvest mouse finds solace within the petals of a stunning tulip. With delicate whiskers twitching in curiosity, it gazes out at the world, nestled snugly in its floral sanctuary.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Harvest Mouse, tulip and leaf were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.

This piece has been professionally framed, with a white mount and white box frame, with glass. It is ready to hang.
