Bumblebee Bliss

Amidst a garden bathed in the soft glow of dawn, a bumblebee dances gracefully among the petals of a crocus flower, its gentle buzz a symphony of spring's awakening.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Bumble Bee, and crocus were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
