Eternal Flight

A pair of barn swallows glide effortlessly over a sun-drenched meadow adorned with delicate cow parsley, their synchronized movements a testament to their enduring bond. As they dance through the air, the swallows weave a tapestry of love and joy, each graceful arc and twist a harmonious ode to the eternal romance of the natural world.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Swallows, Cow parsley and grass were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
