Sweet Mischief

Drawn by the warm scent of wild honey, the badger rises quietly against the old tree, one paw poised at the hollow as golden bees circle in restless warning. Beneath the hum of wings and the fading woodland light, a moment hangs suspended between curiosity, hunger, and the untamed rhythm of the wild.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Badger, Bees, and tree were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
