Winter Treats

A pair of Fallow deer trek through the forest on the hunt for a tasty treat. In their delight they happen upon a crab apple tree and stretch to reach its fruits.
The background is fabric painted and the deer, tree, and apples were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
