When The Earth Wakes Softly

Nestled among the first snowdrops, the young rabbit pauses in the quiet hush of early spring, where the earth begins to stir after winter’s rest. In this fleeting moment, softness returns to the landscape — a tender awakening of life, light, and new beginnings.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the rabbit, snowdrops and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
