Held In Spring Light

Perched among fresh apple blossom and unfolding green leaves, the blue tit rests in the gentle warmth of a new season. Bathed in soft spring light, this moment captures the quiet joy of renewal — where colour, song, and life return once more.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the bluetit, blossoms and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
