A Springtime Symphony

As the cherry tree burst into full pink bloom, two goldfinches perched on its delicate branches, their feathers contrasting the vibrant pink hues of the blossoms. They sang a sweet melody, their voices blending harmoniously with the gentle rustling of the leaves. For a moment, all was perfect and the beauty of nature filled their hearts with joy.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Goldfinches,  branches and blooms were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
