Berry Bliss

A red-breasted robin, its vivid plumage a vibrant emblem of the season, perches delicately on a holly branch, its beak cradling a single crimson berry. In this charming tableau, nature's artwork is alive, as the robin's presence and the holly's bounty converge in a timeless winter serenade.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Robin, berries and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
