Dewdrop Dreams

Beneath the soft glow of morning light, a ladybug rests atop a delicate green-blue toadstool, its vibrant shell a tiny flame against the muted hues of the forest floor. Below, a spider’s web adorned with dewdrops shimmers like a lacework of pearls, capturing the fleeting magic of dawn.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Ladybird, toadstool and cobweb were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
