Forget Me Not

As dawn breaks, a bumblebee ascends toward the rising light, leaving behind a bed of radiant Forget Me Not flowers, their jewel-like petals shimmering with the promise of enduring love and remembrance. Against the dark morning blue, the flowers glow with a vibrant intensity, creating a poignant scene where the bee's journey becomes a symbol of hope and the timeless embrace of cherished memories.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Bee, and Forget Me Not were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
