Grace Of The Garden

In the quiet embrace of the vegetable garden, a nuthatch perches gracefully on the slender stem of a flowering leek, its feathers glowing softly in the morning light. Amid the gentle bloom of the garden, it becomes a fleeting moment of nature's grace, woven delicately into the stillness of the earth's quiet rhythm.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the nuthatch, blossom and stems were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
