Hide And Squeek

A charming wood mouse peeks its tiny head out of a cosy hole in a tree, surrounded by a lush tapestry of ivy leaves and plump berries. With mischievous curiosity, the mouse engages in a delightful game of peek-a-boo, its whiskers twitching with anticipation. 
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the wood mouse, berries and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
