Honey Harmony

In a vibrant garden, a honeybee buries itself into a lavender blossom, its tiny bum raised high in the air, while another hovers nearby, tongue extended, eager to join the feast. Together, they dance among the petals, their delicate movements a testament to nature's intricate beauty and the joy of shared abundance.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Bees, Lavender and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
