Indulging In Ivy

A pair of hungry red-breasted Robins perch upon the stems of the climbing Ivy. The twigs of the Ivy are ladened in berries, ripe and perfect for the picking. They sit and feast upon its plentiful bounty.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the robins, ivy berries and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
