Kissed By Sunset

As the sun descended towards the horizon, its golden rays enveloped the tranquil scene where a dragonfly delicately landed upon a white daisy in full bloom. The radiant petals shimmered in the fading light, casting a gentle glow upon the dragonfly's iridescent wings. Against the backdrop of a sky painted with hues of crimson and orange, this quiet encounter between creature and flower unfolds, a serene tale of nature's harmony in the waning hours of the day.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Dragonfly, daisy and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
