Little Temptaions

In the midst of a toadstool fairy ring, a cute woodmouse has found the perfect spot to rest, the top of a large plump toadstool. Happy with itself, it clutches a ripe acorn in its paws and readies itself to devour it.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the woodmouse, toadstools, and acron were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
