Meadow's Gentle Heart

A gentle blush of pink lingers in the air as if the dawn has painted the sky in harmony. A young fawn stands amidst a sea of pink and white blossoms, its wide eyes reflecting the softness of the world waking around it. The petals dance with the breeze, brushing against its slender legs as if the meadow itself is welcoming this gentle soul.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the fawn, flowers, and grass were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
