Nose To The Breeze

In a sun-kissed meadow surrounded by swaying grass, a curious badger sets out on a leisurely exploration. As he meandered among the rolling hills, his sharp sense of smell caught a delightful fragrance on the breeze. Intrigued, he followed the alluring scent, his nose leading him to a cluster of blooming flowers. Standing tall amidst the colourful petals, he baths in the warm sunlight. Basking in the beauty of the scented meadow, forever captivated by nature's aromatic wonders.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Badger, flowers, and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
