Peaceful Pine

In a tranquil forest, a red-breasted robin found its haven atop a towering pine tree, nestled among the evergreen branches adorned with pinecones. As the soft breeze rustled the pine needles, the robin gazed upon the landscape below.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Robin, berries and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
