Spectacular Peacock

After a morning of feeding from the sweet nectar of the Buddleia, this Peacock Butterfly rests high on a branch of an oak tree. Spreading its beautiful wings out to deter predators with its spectacular eyes displayed on its wings.
 
Displayed in a large glass and gold, brass display box measuring 9.5cm X 8.4cm X 4.5cm.
