Whispers In Bloom

In a tranquil corner of a blossoming garden, a Wood Mouse has found solace amidst the ethereal beauty of a cherry blossom tree. The warm rays of the sun bathe him as happily munches away on a sweet bloom.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the mouse and blossomwere achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
